Hi everyone! I’m planning a trip to Turkey for dental implants and keep hearing about "UK approved dental clinics in Turkey." Does anyone know if this is a real certification? I’m worried about quality but also need affordable options. Any experiences with clinics in İstanbul or Antalya?###

Sarah, great question! I went to DentCare in Antalya last year – they claim to be UK approved dental clinics in Turkey. My crowns cost £800 (about €900) for three, and the service was smooth. They even arranged my hotel transfer. Just check if they’ve got GDC-equivalent dentists. Antalya’s way cheaper than İzmir too!

Honestly, the term "UK approved" is kinda misleading imo. No Turkish clinic is officially UK-approved, but some follow NHS standards. I found one in İstanbul (SmileHub) with Brit-trained dentists. Paid €1.5k for veneers—saved thousands! Make sure they use digital scans tho, avoids messy impressions.

Did loads of research on this! "UK approved dental clinics in Turkey" usually means clinics using UK materials or employing dentists registered with the GDC (UK dental council). I chose one in Fethiye – full mouth implants for £6k. In the UK? Would’ve been £25k+! They spoke perfect English and aftercare included 2 checkups. Only hiccup was flight delays lol.

Be careful with prices!! Some clinics in Ankara quoted me €2k for implants but hidden fees popped up later. Found a smaller UK-facing clinic in İzmir through a forum – transparent pricing (£1.1k per implant) and no surprises. Healing’s been perfect 6 months on. Always ask for all-inclusive quotes!
