Hey everyone! Seriously considering dental tourism Turkey for veneers and maybe implants. Heard it’s way cheaper than Ireland, but nervous about quality control. Anyone been in the last few months? How’d you vet clinics? Also tips for combining treatment with holiday time? Cheers!

did dental tourism Turkey last April in Istanbul! 10 veneers + whitening for £2.8k (flights from Manchester incl!). Clinic had UK-trained dentists and WhatsApp support pre-appointment. Only gripe: temporary crowns felt weird for 4 days, but used that time for a Bosphorus cruise. 10/10!

ANTALYA IS KING for dental tourism Turkey!! Got 8 crowns for €1.7k. My clinic picked me up from the airport and threw in a free cleaning. BUT research like crazy – some places overbook. Pro tip: Go in spring – beaches are empty and prices lower than summer!

Chose İzmir for dental tourism Turkey after comparing 5 quotes. Full upper denture for $1.3k (vs £5.5k at home!). Clinic was spotless, but bring a phrasebook if you explore smaller towns like Çeşme. Heads up: some clinics charge extra for "same-day adjustments" – get it in writing!

Ankara worked for me! 4 implants at €3.1k total. Staff spoke perfect English but recovery was ROUGH – bled for 2 days straight. Stayed a full week before flying back to Scotland. Dental tourism Turkey needs buffer days! Also: eat at local "lokantas" – mind-blowing lentil soup!

Two-time dental tourism Turkey veteran here! 😅 İstanbul for composite bonding (€400) and Antalya for root canal (€220). DEFİNETLY book hotels separately – those "all-inclusive dental packages" hide resort fees. Flight delay ruined day 1 for me – arrive EARLY! Payment hack: split cash/card to avoid sketchy exchange places.

Bodrum is UNDERRATED for dental tourism Turkey! 6 veneers for £1.4k with ocean-view waiting room lol. WARNING: Get supplemental dental insurance BEFORE leaving home! My implant crown loosened after 4 months and my local dentist charged £280 to fix. Still saved thousands though!
